Três Irmãos Beach, officially associated with Alvor Nascente, sits at the eastern end of Alvor's long sandy shoreline in the municipality of Portimão. It is a sheltered bay between rocks where the Alvor beach system begins to become a more sculpted cliff-and-cove landscape. The beach has sand, limestone cliffs, offshore rocks, small coves and dune habitat. Visit Portimão lists beach support, Blue Flag, lifeguard support, first aid, WC, showers, sunshade area and a nautical centre. Facilities and staffing can vary by season and concession operation. Low-tide access towards Prainha and nearby coves should only be considered when local sea, tide, signage and cliff conditions are safe.
